This is the process a new seller needs to complete when registering a new account in Atlas.
A) ATLAS – account activation
Welcome to Atlas. Your account manager has created an account for you in Atlas, by doing so you receive an email with a link to register in Atlas. The first thing you need to do is set the password for your new ATLAS account, please follow these instructions:
- Open the email and click on the link
- Select "forgot my password"
- Enter your email address and click on 'Send verification code'
- You will now receive an email with the verification code; Enter this code in ATLAS and click on 'Continue'
- You can now set your new password
B) Complete “Know your customer” (KYC)
After logging on to ATLAS, you can see your KYC status. If you need to go through the KYC process, follow the steps on the website and in this manual.
Before you initiate the KYC check, fill in the business type:
Choose the business type accordingly:
- for Curators > business type: individual
- for Banks > business type: company
- for Government institutions > business type: company
- for Non-profit organisations > business type: non-profit (with Chamber of Commerce), individual (no Chamber of Commerce)
- Welcome to the Stripe KYC process, follow instructions below
- Select your language (left-hand side of the screen)
- Fill out your company address details
- Enter the URL of your business website. If you don't have a company website, enter www.apple.com/app-store to be able to continue the registration process
5. Legal name: fill out who represents the business
6. Check the shareholders %, if there are more shareholders (+25%) fill out their name and email address in the following pages
7. If you are a board members click on "I am a member of the governing board". If there are more board members, fill out their names and email addresses in the following pages
8.Fill in board members (with significant managing responsibility)
9.Review and finish, click on "missing information" if necessary to add additional information
10.Upload a copy or photo of your personal ID
11.Click "agree and submit". This completes your KYC registration. You are redirected to ATLAS. You should now see "Done" behind the KYC Check, indicating that your KYC procedure is completed.
C) Add your bank account to Atlas
As a primary user you are required to add your bank account to receive your payment.
1) Login into Atlas, go to the ATLAS landing page
2) Click on "Manage Bank" accounts, you are directed to the "Companies" menu in ATLAS
3) Select "Bank Accounts" from the menu
4) Select the "Add Bank Account" button (top-right of the screen)
5) Add your bank account details
6) Upload a document proofing that you own this bank account. This proof should at least show the account holders name and the bank account number.
7) Select "Send Verification Code", which will arrive in your email inbox
8) Add the verification code from your email inbox, and select the blue "Submit" button (bottom-right in the screen). Your bank account is now submitted. After your bank account is checked and approved by the Finance team, it can be used to pay-out the funds from the auctions.
9) Repeat steps 1-8 if you want to add more accounts to ATLAS, to receive payments
D) Add/ use different bank account per sales agreement
Bank accounts can be linked to different sales agreements. Follow the steps below to link them:
1) Navigate to "Companies" >> Sales Agreements in the ATLAS menu
2) Select a Sales Agreement and hit the "Change bank account" button
3) Select the bank account you want to use with this sales agreement and hit the "Send verification code" button.
4) Enter the verification code (from your email) in this screen and hot the "Submit" button
Funds will for this sales agreement will now be paid out to the selected bank account
